Why We Sleep
Sleep is a vital function for every living creature on earth. Even worms sleep! Why exactly we need sleep to live is an age-old question — one ancient philosophers pondered with great curiosity. Today, we have sleep researchers like Matt Walker and the team at UC Berkeley’s Sleep and Neuroimaging Lab answering the big questions for us.
Inspired by an episode of the Inquiring Minds Podcast called “Why Did We Evolve to Sleep?,” I created this three-part series, Why We Sleep.
In this series, you’ll find answers to all the questions you’ve ever had about sleep, along with the best list of sleep tips you’ll find on the interwebs.
